“Where Faith Grows and Community Thrives”
A Note from Pastor Stephen
As we step into June, I'm reminded once again of how faithful God has been to our church family. Every season brings its own rhythm — some fast, some slow, some filled with joy, and others marked by challenges we never expected. Yet through all of it, God continues to meet us with grace that is steady, patient, and more than enough.
Summer has a way of inviting us to breathe a little deeper. The days get longer, the pace shifts, and we find small moments to pause and notice God's goodness in ways we sometimes miss during the busier months. My prayer for each of you is that June becomes a month of renewal — a time when you feel God strengthening you, guiding you, and reminding you that you are never walking alone.
As we gather each Sunday, as we pray for one another, and as we serve our community, may we do so with hearts that are open and expectant. God is at work here at Abbott Methodist Church — in our worship, in our ministries, in our young people, and in the quiet ways He moves in our daily lives. I'm grateful for each of you, and I'm honored to walk this journey of faith together.

Ministry Spotlight — June 2026
Celebrating Our Scholarship Recipients: Dani Williams & Keanna Gonzales
This month, we are honored to shine our Ministry Spotlight on our two Abbott Methodist Church Scholarship recipients — Dani Williams and Keanna Gonzales.
Dani Williams will be attending Tarleton State University, where she will pursue a degree in Horticulture & Plant Sciences. Her passion for growth — both in the soil and in life — reflects a steady dedication that will serve her well as she steps into this next chapter.
Keanna Gonzales will begin her studies at Hill College, with plans to continue her education and become a teacher. Her heart for learning and her desire to pour into the next generation make her a beautiful example of servant-minded leadership.
Both of these outstanding young women were selected with prayerful consideration. They represent determination, character, and the kind of perseverance that deserves to be recognized. Thanks to the generosity of our church family and the legacy of those who built this scholarship program, we were able to award two $1,000 scholarships to help them take their next steps with confidence.
A Blessing for Dani & Keanna
May the Lord go before you and make your path clear.
May His wisdom guide your decisions, His strength uphold your steps, and His favor open doors no one can shut.
May you grow in grace, courage, and purpose as you follow the calling God has placed on your lives.
We bless you, Dani and Keanna — and we stand with you in prayer as you begin this new journey. Amen.
Closing
As we continue through this month, may our church family remember to pray for one another, lift each other up, and walk together in the grace God so freely gives. May the Lord bless each one of you and keep you in His care until we gather again.
